Knot 3.6 - the abstract 3D graphics & animation program for Macintosh, has
been re-released. Now you can create QuickTime Virtual Reality objects & icons, bond strands together into ribbons, and output at a resolution of 288 dots per inch. New viewing options let you see pictures without having to manually launch a viewer, and improved stability accomapanies all the features of the previous version: special lighting effects, stereogram options, and a ton of examples. And on PowerPC machines, the new version runs native. Knot requires a color Macintosh; System 7 or later; QuickTime for making animations; and at least 4MB memory (8MB recommended). You can use it with any paint program or movie player.
